Web dashboard returns 502 / 504

Check: curl -fsS http://127.0.0.1:28080/health, mac logs api-server and mac logs web-ui. If mac start times out after the containers are ready, check http://127.0.0.1:28080/health/detailed for dependency errors instead of deleting data.

Fix: If the API is healthy, restart only the UI:

docker compose -p mac -f /etc/mango/mac/docker-compose.master.yml restart web-ui

Login fails with "invalid credentials"

Unless a password was seeded at first start, log in as admin / admin. After HTTP 429, wait before retrying. Another admin can reset the password in Settings → Users; otherwise use password recovery on the master.

"Connection refused" calling the API from outside the host

Check the firewall and docker port mac-api-server. The defaults are HTTP 28080 and HTTPS 28443.

LLMBoost or MASS shows unavailable

not_configured means setup is missing, not a container failure. See LLMBoost troubleshooting and MASS.
